This is one of the many places that the old Testament actually uses the name of Jesus  (Yeshua in Hebrew). The quote is taken from "The Hebrew Names Bible".

In that day you will say, "I will give thanks to You, the LORD;

for though You were angry with me, Your anger has turned away and You comfort me.

Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD, the LORD, is my strength and song; and He has become my yeshu`ah."
  Therefore with joy you will draw water out of the wells of yeshu`ah.

  In that day you will say,

"Give thanks to the LORD! Call on His name. Declare His doings among the peoples. Proclaim that His name is exalted!

 Sing to the LORD, for He has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!

  Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Tziyon; for the Holy One of Yisra'el is great in the midst of you!"

Isaiah 12

2/5/03
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from Him [cometh ] my salvation.
He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [He is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? Ye shall be slain all of you:
As a bowing wall [shall ye be, and as] a tottering fence.
They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency:
They delight in lies:
They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

My soul, wait thou only upon God;
For my expectation [is] from him.
He only [is] my rock and my salvation:
[He is] my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God [is] my salvation and my glory:
The rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.

Trust in Him at all times; [ye] people,
Pour out your heart before Him:
God [is] a refuge for us. Selah.
Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie:
To be laid in the balance,
They [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity.
Trust not in oppression,
And become not vain in robbery:
If riches increase, set not your heart [upon them].

God hath spoken once;
Twice have I heard this;
That power [belongeth] unto God.
Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy:
For thou renderest to every man according to his work.

Psalm 62

1/8/03

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.

         As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

         Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

         To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

         He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:17-22

11/1/02
(Jer 31:10) Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the islands that are afar off, and say: He that scattered Israel will gather him: and He will keep him as the shepherd doth his flock.
(Jer 31:11) For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and delivered him out of the hand of one that was mightier than he.
(Jer 31:12) And they shall come, and shall give praise in mount Sion: and they shall flow together to the good things of the Lord, for the corn, and wine, and oil, and the increase of cattle and herds, and their soul shall be as a watered garden, and they shall be hungry no more.
(Jer 31:13) Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, the young men and old men together: and I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them joyful after their sorrow.
(Jer 31:14) And I will fill the soul of the priests with fatness: and My people shall be filled with My good things, saith the Lord.
(Jer 31:31) Behold the days shall come, saith the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Juda:
(Jer 31:32) Not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, the covenant which they made void, and I had dominion over them, saith the Lord.
(Jer 31:33) But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, after those days, saith the Lord: I will give My law in their bowels, and I will write it in their heart: and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
(Jer 31:34) And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: Know the Lord: for all shall know Me from the least of them even to the greatest, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

10/1/02
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.
   Howbeit that [was] not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
   The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man [is] the Lord from heaven.
   As [is] the earthy, such [are] they also that are earthy: and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly.
   And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

   Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
   In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
   For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.
   So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
   O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?
   The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.
   But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

   Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:45-58

9/10/02
If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law, [and] if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

   For this commandment which I command thee this day, it [is] not hidden from thee,

neither [is] it far off.

   It [is] not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

   Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

   But the word [is] very nigh unto thee,

in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

   See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Deuteronomy 30:10-15

   For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
   But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down [from above]:)
   Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
   But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
   For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.
   For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.

   For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:5-13

Phi 4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Phi 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Phi 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Phi 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
 Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Heb 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Jam 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Jam 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Jam 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

       Jam 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to
       God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
       from you.

2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in
       infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities,
       in persecutions, in distresses for
       Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then
       am I strong.

    1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
    1Pe 4:13 But rejoice, in as much as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
    Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
    Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
    Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

8/05/02
O LORD, Thou hast searched me, and known [me].

   Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
   Thou understandest my thought afar off.
   Thou compassest my path and my lying down,
   And art acquainted [with] all my ways.
   For [there is] not a word in my tongue,
   [But], lo, O LORD, Thou knowest it altogether.
   Thou hast beset me behind and before,
   And laid thine hand upon me.

   [Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me;
   It is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.

   Whither shall I go from Thy spirit?
   Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
   If I ascend up into heaven, Thou [art] there:
   If I make my bed in hell, behold, Thou [art there].
   [If] I take the wings of the morning,
   [And] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
   Even there shall Thy hand lead me,
   And Thy right hand shall hold me.
   If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me;
   Even the night shall be light about me.
   Yea, the darkness hideth not from Thee;
   But the night shineth as the day:
   The darkness and the light [are] both alike [to Thee].
   For Thou hast possessed my reins:
   Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
   I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully [and] wonderfully made:
   Marvellous [are] Thy works;
   And [that] my soul knoweth right well.
   My substance was not hid from Thee,
   When I was made in secret,
   [And] curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
   Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
   And in Thy book all [my members] were written,
   [Which] in continuance were fashioned,
   When [as yet there was] none of them.
   How precious also are Thy thoughts unto me,
   O God! how great is the sum of them!
   [If] I should count them, they are more in number than the sand:
   When I awake, I am still with Thee.
   Surely Thou wilt slay the wicked, O God:

   Depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
   For they speak against Thee wickedly,
   [And] Thine enemies take [Thy name] in vain.
   Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate Thee?
   And am not I grieved with those that rise up against Thee?
   I hate them with perfect hatred:
   I count them mine enemies.

   Search me, O God, and know my heart:
   Try me, and know my thoughts:
   And see if [there be any] wicked way in me,
   And lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 139

7/27/02
And He shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall He be great unto the ends of the earth.
   And this [Man] shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
   And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof:

thus shall He deliver [us] from the Assyrian, when He cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

   And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.
   And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.
   Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:

   And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:

   And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no [more] soothsayers:
   Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
   And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee:

so will I destroy thy cities.

   And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

Micah 5:4-15

7/15/02
   Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside Me [there is] no God.

   And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for Me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them
.
   Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even My witnesses. Is there a God beside Me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].

   They that make a graven image [are] all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they [are] their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

Isaiah 44:6-9

7/9/02
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand;

 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye [even] to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
   And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God:

   For He [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil.

   Who knoweth [if] He will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?

   Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
   Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
   Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy People, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them:

   wherefore should they say among the people, Where [is] their God?

Joel 2:1,12-17

7/01/02
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

   Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

   Again, When a righteous [man] doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

   Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous [man], that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 3:18-21

6/25/02
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork
.
   Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

   [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard.

   Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

   In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun,
   Which [is] as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
   [And] rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
   His going forth [is] from the end of the heaven,
   And his circuit unto the ends of it:
   And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

   The law of the LORD [is] perfect, converting the soul:
   The testimony of the LORD [is] sure, making wise the simple.
   The statutes of the LORD [are] right, rejoicing the heart:
   The commandment of the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.
   The fear of the LORD [is] clean, enduring for ever:
   The judgments of the LORD [are] true [and] righteous altogether.
   More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold:
   Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

   Moreover by them is Thy servant warned:
   [And] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.
   Who can understand [his] errors?
   Cleanse Thou me from secret [faults].
   Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous [sins];
   Let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright,
   And I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
   Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight,
     O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 19

6/15/02
Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
   And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:

   But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

   And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
   For the LORD our God, He [it is] that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

   If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that He hath done you good.

   And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye [are] witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve Him.

And they said, [We are] witnesses.

 Now therefore put away, [said he], the strange gods which [are] among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel

Joshua 24:14-17,20-23

Psalm 19

6/2/02
For their rock [is] not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves [being] judges.
   For their vine [is] of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes [are] grapes of gall, their clusters [are] bitter:
   Their wine [is] the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

   [Is] not this laid up in store with Me, [and] sealed up among my treasures?
  To Me [belongeth] vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in [due] time: for the day of their calamity [is] at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
   For the LORD shall judge His people, and repent Himself for His servants, when He seeth that [their] power is gone, and [there is] none shut up, or left.
   And He shall say, Where [are] their gods, [their] rock in whom they trusted,
   Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, [and] drank the wine of their drink offerings? let them rise up and help you, [and] be your protection.

   See now that I, [even] I, [am] He, and [there is] no god with Me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither [is there any] that can deliver out of My hand.
   For I lift up My hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
   If I whet My glittering sword, and Mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to Mine enemies,

   And will reward them that hate Me.

Deuteronomy 32:31-41

5/28/02
I said, "Just fear Me. Receive correction, so that her dwelling won't be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her." But they rose early and corrupted all their doings.

   "Therefore wait for Me," says the LORD, "until the day that I rise up to the prey, for My determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour on them My indignation, even all My fierce anger, for all the earth will be devoured with the fire of My jealousy. For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on the name of the LORD, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.

   Sing, daughter of Tziyon! Shout, Yisra'el! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, daughter of Yerushalayim.

   The LORD has taken away your judgments. He has thrown out your enemy. The King of Yisra'el, the LORD, is in the midst of you.

   You will not be afraid of evil any more.

   In that day, it will be said to Yerushalayim, "Don't be afraid, Tziyon. Don't let your hands be slack."

   The LORD, your God, is in the midst of you, a Mighty One who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will rest in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing.
   Those who are sad for the appointed feasts, I will remove from you. They are a burden and a reproach to you.
   Behold, at that time I will deal with all those who afflict you, and I will save those who are lame, and gather those who were driven away. I will give them praise and honor, whose shame has been in all the earth.
   At that time will I bring you in, and at that time will I gather you; for I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth,

when I bring back your captivity before your eyes, says the LORD.

Zephaniah (Tzefanyah) 3:7-9,14-20

5/23/02
And therefore will the LORD wait, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, that He may have mercy upon you: for the LORD [is] a God of judgment: blessed [are] all they that wait for Him.
   For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer thee.
   And [though] the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:
   And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isaiah 30:18-21

5/15/02
For the word of God

   [Is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,

   Piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and

   [Is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

   Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

   Seeing then that we have a great High Priest,  that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of   God,

   Let us hold fast [our] profession.

Hebrews 4:12-14

5/4/02
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God.

   And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

   Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I know not [any].

Isaiah 44:6-8

4/29/02
I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him.
   That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
   And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, [that] wickedness [was] there; and the place of righteousness, [that] iniquity [was] there.
   I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for [there is] a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Ecclesiastes 3:14-17

4/22/02
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye
         children:
     For blessed [are they that] keep my ways.
     Hear instruction, and be wise,
     And refuse it not.
     Blessed [is] the man that heareth me,
     Watching daily at my gates,
     Waiting at the posts of my doors.
     For whoso findeth me findeth life,
     And shall obtain favour of the LORD.
     But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his
         own soul:

     All they that hate me love death.

     The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of
         wisdom:
     And the knowledge of the holy [is]
         understanding.

Proverbs 8:32-36 9:10

4/16/02
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed [be] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

   For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, [in] a salt land and not inhabited.

   Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

   For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and [that] spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

   The heart [is] deceitful above all [things], and desperately wicked: who can know it?
   I the LORD search the heart, [I] try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, [and] according to the fruit of his doings.

Jeremiah 17:5-10

4/11/02
I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

     I am the good Shepherd: the good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

     But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
     The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

     I am the good Shepherd,

and know My [sheep],

and am known of Mine.

     As the Father knoweth Me,

even so know I the Father:

and I lay down My life for the sheep.

John 10:9-15

4/8/02
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
     And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:
 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in [his] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
     For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
     Not of works, lest any man should boast.

     But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
     For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us];
     Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in Himself of twain one new man, [so] making peace;
     And that He might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
     And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
     For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Ephesians 2:5-9,14-18

4/2/02
Grace [be] to you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

   Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:

   According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:

   Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself,

according to the good pleasure of His will,
   To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.

   In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,

 according to the riches of his grace;

   Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
   Having made known unto us the mystery of His will,

 according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself:
   That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in Him:

Ephesians 1:2-10

3/28/02
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? [why art thou so] far from helping me, [and from] the words of my roaring?
O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
 But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
 But I [am] a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, [saying],
He trusted on the LORD [that] he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
 But thou [art] he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope [when I was] upon my mother's breasts.
 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou [art] my God from my mother's belly.
 Be not far from me; for trouble [is] near; for [there is] none to help.
Many bulls have compassed me: strong [bulls] of Bashan have beset me round.
 They gaped upon me [with] their mouths, [as] a ravening and a roaring lion.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
 I may tell all my bones: they look [and] stare upon me.
 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns

Psalm 22:1-21

3/22/02
Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
   Receive, I pray thee, the law from His mouth, and lay up His words in thine heart.
   If thou return to
THE ALMIGHTY, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
   Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the [gold] of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
   Yea,
THE ALMIGHTY shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
   For then shalt thou have thy delight in
THE ALMIGHTY, and shalt lift up thy face unto GOD

Job 22:21-26

3/19/02
The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
   Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.
   And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
   In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open Mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon Me Whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for [his] only [son], and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.

Zechariah 12:1-4,8-10

3/16/02
For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, [even] I, will both search My sheep, and seek them out.
   As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep [that are] scattered; so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day

  Therefore will I save My flock, and they shall no more be a prey;

and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

   And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, [even] My servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
   And I the LORD will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken [it].

   And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

   And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
   And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

Ezekiel 34:11,12,22-27

3/13/02
I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live;

yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:

and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,

who loved me,

and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

3/11/02
   Praise ye THE LORD.
I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart,
in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

   The works of the LORD [are] great,
sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
   His work [is] honourable and glorious:
and his righteousness endureth for ever.
   He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD [is] gracious and full of compassion.

   He hath given meat unto them that fear Him:
He will ever be mindful of his covenant.
   He hath shewed his people the power of his works,
that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

   The works of His hands [are] verity and judgment;
all His commandments [are] sure.
   They stand fast for ever and ever,
[and are] done in truth and uprightness.
   He sent redemption unto His people:
He hath commanded His covenant for ever:
Holy and reverend [is] His name.
   The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do [His commandments]:

His praise endureth for ever.

Psalm 111

3/9/02

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

   Before the mountains were brought forth,

or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,

even from everlasting to everlasting,

thou [art] God
.

Psalms 90:1-2

3/7/02
   For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD;

and [there is] none else.

   I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth:

I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

   Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye [that are] escaped of the nations:

they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god [that] cannot save.

   Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me.

   Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth:

for I [am] God, and [there is] none else.

Isaiah 45:18-22

3/15/03
(Rev 1:3) Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.

(Rev 1:4) John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him Who is and Who was and Who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,
(Rev 1:5) and from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him Who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood--
(Rev 1:6) and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father--to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
(Rev 1:7) BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

(Rev 1:8) "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty."

Revelation 1:3-8

2/15/03
   Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
By a new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;
And [having] an High Priest over the house of God;
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for He [is] faithful that promised;)

   And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

   For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith He was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto Me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge His people.

[It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Hebrews 10:19-31

(Psa 29:1) A Psalm of David.
Ascribe to the LORD, O sons of the mighty, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
(Psa 29:2) Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in holy array.
(Psa 29:3) The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; The God of glory thunders, The LORD is over many waters.
(Psa 29:4) The voice of the LORD is powerful, The voice of the LORD is majestic.
(Psa 29:5) The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
(Psa 29:6) He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, And Sirion like a young wild ox.
(Psa 29:7) The voice of the LORD hews out flames of fire.
(Psa 29:8) The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
(Psa 29:9) The voice of the LORD makes the deer to calve And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everything says, "Glory!"
(Psa 29:10) The LORD sat as King at the flood; Yes, the LORD sits as King forever.
(Psa 29:11) The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.

11/13/02
Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and His judgments, and His statutes, which I command thee this day:
Lest [when] thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt [therein];
And [when] thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;
Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage; Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, [wherein were] fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where [there was] no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;
Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that He might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of [mine] hand hath gotten me this wealth.

 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for [it is] He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish his covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day.

Deut 8:11-18

(1Jo 1:1) That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
(1Jo 1:2) (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
(1Jo 1:3) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
(1Jo 1:4) And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
(1Jo 1:5) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
(1Jo 1:6) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
(1Jo 1:7) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
(1Jo 1:8) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
(1Jo 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(1Jo 1:10) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
(Rom 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(Rom 3:24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
(Rom 3:25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
(Rom 3:26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

9/20/60
For we know in part,
and we prophesy in part.
   But when that which is perfect is come,
   Then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child,
   I spake as a child,
   I understood as a child,
   I thought as a child:

   But when I became a man, I put away childish things.
   For now we see through a glass, darkly;
   But then face to face:

   Now I know in part;
   But then shall I know even as also I am known.

   And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
   And I John saw the holy city,

   New Jerusalem,

   Coming down from God out of heaven,
   Prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

   And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men,
   And He will dwell with them,
   And they shall be His people,
   And God Himself shall be with them,
   [And be] their God.

   And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;

   And there shall be no more death,

   Neither sorrow,

   Nor crying,

   Neither shall there be any more pain:

   For the former things are passed away.
   And he that sat upon the throne said,
   Behold, I make all things new.

   And He said unto me,
   Write:
   For these words are true and faithful.

   And He said unto me,
   It is done.

   I am Alpha and Omega,
   The Beginning and the End.

   I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

1 Corinthians 13:9-12, Revelation 21:1-6

8/27/02
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and] to do all His commandments which I command thee this day,

that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
   And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee,

if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

   Blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the field.
   Blessed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
   Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.
   Blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and blessed [shalt ] thou [be] when thou goest out.
   The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
   The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and He shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
   The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in His ways

Deuteronomy 28 1-9

8/20/02
The LORD [is] my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
   The LORD [is] the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?
   When the wicked, [even] mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh,
   They stumbled and fell.
   Though an host should encamp against me,
   My heart shall not fear:
   Though war should rise against me,
   In this [will] I [be] confident.

   One [thing] have I desired of the LORD,
that will I seek after;
   That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
   To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

   For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion:
   In the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me;
   He shall set me up upon a rock.

   And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me:

   Therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy;
   I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

   Hear, O LORD, [when] I cry with my voice:
   Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
   [When Thou saidst], Seek ye My face; my heart said unto Thee,
   Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

   Hide not Thy face [far] from me;
   Put not Thy servant away in anger:
   Thou hast been my help;
   Leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

   When my father and my mother forsake me,
   Then the LORD will take me up.

   Teach me Thy way, O LORD,
   And lead me in a plain path,
   Because of mine enemies.
   Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies:
   For false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

   [I had fainted], unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD
   In the land of the living.
   Wait on the LORD:
   Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart:
   Wait, I say, on the LORD.

Psalm27

8/01/02
O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek Thee:
   My soul thirsteth for Thee, my flesh longeth for Thee
   In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
   To see Thy power and Thy glory,
   So [as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

   Because Thy lovingkindness [is] better than life,
   My lips shall praise Thee.

   Thus will I bless Thee while I live:
   I will lift up my hands in Thy name.
   My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness;
   And my mouth shall praise [Thee] with joyful lips:
   When I remember Thee upon my bed,
   [And] meditate on Thee in the [night] watches.

   Because Thou hast been my help,
   Therefore in the shadow of Thy wings will I rejoice.

   My soul followeth hard after Thee:
   Thy right hand upholdeth me.
   But those [that] seek my soul, to destroy [it],
   Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
   They shall fall by the sword:
   They shall be a portion for foxes.

   But the king shall rejoice in God;
   Every one that sweareth by Him shall glory:

   But the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Psalm 63

7/20/02
And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
   They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find [Him]; He hath withdrawn Himself from them.
   They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.

   Therefore [will] I [be] unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
   When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
   For I [will be] unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, [even] I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue [him].
   I will go [and] return to My place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek My face: in their affliction they will seek Me early.

   Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.

   After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.
   Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth.

Hosea 5:5-7,12-15 6:1-3

7/12/02
 we know that the Law is spiritual,

but I am of flesh, sold into bondage to sin.

   For what I am doing, I do not understand;

for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.

   But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good.

   So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.

   For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh;

for the willing is present in me,

but the doing of the good is not.

   For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want.

   But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.

   I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good.

   For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man,

   But I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.

     Wretched man that I am!

Who will set me free from the body of this death?

 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Romans 7:14-25

     Do you not know ? Have you not heard ? Has it not been declared to you from the beginning ? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth ?
     It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
     He it is who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.
     Scarcely have they been planted, Scarcely have they been sown, Scarcely has their stock taken root in the earth,

     But He merely blows on them, and they wither, And the storm carries them away like stubble.

     "To whom then will you liken Me That I would be his equal?" says the Holy One.

     Lift up your eyes on high And see Who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number,
     He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power , Not one of them is missing .
     Why do you say, O Jacob, and assert, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, And the justice due me escapes the notice of my God "?

     Do you not know ? Have you not heard ? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable .

     He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power.
     Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,
     Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength ;
     They will mount up with wings like eagles,
     They will run and not get tired,
     They will walk and not become weary.

Isaiah 40:21-31

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts!
   My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the LORD;
   My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

   Even the sparrow has found a home,

   And the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young

   Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, My King and my God.

   Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; They will still be praising You.
Selah

   Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,

   Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

   As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring;

   The rain also covers it with pools.

   They go from strength to strength;

   Each one appears before God in Zion.

   O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer;
Give ear, O God of Jacob!
Selah

   O God, behold our shield, And look upon the face of Your anointed.

   For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.
   I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
   Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

   For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
   The LORD will give grace and glory;
   No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
   O LORD of hosts,
   Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

Psalm 84

6/20/02
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it:

   Except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.

   [It is] vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late,
To eat the bread of sorrows:

   [For] so He giveth His beloved sleep.

   Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [And] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.

   As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; So [are] children of the youth.
   Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them:
   They shall not be ashamed,
   But they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127

6/11/02
   Being asked by the Perushim when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them,
"The Kingdom of God doesn't come with observation; neither will they say, 'Look, here!' or, 'Look, there!' for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."

   for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, shalom, and joy in the Holy Spirit

"Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Goyim seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

   Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.

Don't you know that we will judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

   and from Yeshua the Messiah, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him Who loves us, and washed us from our sins by His blood; and He made us to be  kings and priests to His God and Father; to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and four [and] twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
   And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
   And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
   And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
   Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
   And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
   And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four [and] twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 5:8-14

   As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in Him:
   Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

   Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

   For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
   And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 2:6-10

Praise ye the LORD.

Praise ye the name of the LORD;
Praise [Him], O ye servants of the LORD.
Ye that stand in the house of the LORD,
In the courts of the house of our God,
Praise the LORD; for the LORD [is] good:
Sing praises unto His name; for [it is] pleasant.

For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto Himself, [and] Israel for His peculiar treasure.

For I know that the LORD [is] great,
And [that] our Lord [is] above all gods.
Whatsoever the LORD pleased, [that] did He
In heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth;
He maketh lightnings for the rain;
He bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
Who smote the firstborn of Egypt,
Both of man and beast.
[Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt,
Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
Who smote great nations,
And slew mighty kings;
Sihon king of the Amorites,
And Og king of Bashan,
And all the kingdoms of Canaan:
And gave their land [for] an heritage,
An heritage unto Israel his people.

Thy name, O LORD, [endureth] for ever;

[And] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.

For the LORD will judge His people,
And he will repent Himself concerning his servants.

The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold,

The work of men's hands.

They have mouths, but they speak not;

Eyes have they, but they see not;

They have ears, but they hear not;

Neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.

They that make them are like unto them:

[So is] every one that trusteth in them.

Bless the LORD, O house of Israel:
Bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
Bless the LORD, O house of Levi:
Ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
Blessed be the LORD out of Zion,
Which dwelleth at Jerusalem.

Praise ye the LORD

Psalms 135

5/21/02
And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the LORD your God, and none else: and My people shall never be ashamed.

   And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
   And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My spirit.

   And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
   The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

   And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call

Joel 2:27-32

I will sing of mercy and judgment:
   Unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
   I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way.
   O when wilt thou come unto me?
   I will walk within my house with a perfect
   heart.

   I will se
