Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your Kingdom of Grace -- saving grace, healing grace, liberating grace and overcoming grace. Thank you for the power of grace power to endure, power to conquer, power to live, power to love. Thank you for delivering us from do-it-yourself religion. Religion is cruel, cold and intolerant; it's the letter that kills. But grace is the spirit that gives life. Grace empowers me because it liberates me. Grace empowers me because it restores me. Grace empowers me because it sustains me. Thank you for the revelation of grace your eternal, unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor.

Thank you for the force of grace. It put me in your Kingdom and it keeps me in your Kingdom. Thank you for the unspeakable joy of grace. It made me strong and it keeps me strong.

Truly, the only word for grace is AMAZING!!

Thank you, Father! You are an AMAZING God!!

This post has been delayed a couple of weeks because of our busy season we have just gone through as we moved into a new church building. Since the time I wrote this word two weeks ago, we have also had the arrival of yet another storm named "Matthew". This tropical system was again drenching the Gulf coast region. When I looked on the Weather Channel at where it was going to hit, it showed in red from New Orleans to Pensacola- as it's primary target. Then this region received even more unneeded heavy rains.

Matthew is the first book of the New Testament and is where John the Baptist first announces "Prepare the way". Matthew is the specific gospel that presents Jesus' credentials as King, and specifically King of the coming Kingdom of Heaven. The term "kingdom of heaven" appears 33 times in Matthew and none of the other gospels compares with this level of emphasis. Also the word "righteous" or "righteousness" is listed more times in Matthew than in all the other gospels combined. I believe that this last storm is still the Lord speaking the same message. Prepare the way because Heaven is about to make the whole world notice that there is a God. Righteousness is the foundation of His throne and He is coming with that emphasis. He is coming not to take us away at this time, but to establish the foundation of His Kingdom HERE on the earth. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, and He is coming to make sure we all know that. This posting is a little lengthy so give yourself time to read it. Blessings.

To Create a weekly TV show dedicated to Christian Spirituality. We will be covering "Soaking in the Spirit" (Christian Meditation) along with many other topics. These will all be dealing with ways to bring REAL into the term re(a)lationship as concerning Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Here is a great way to pray for yourself or a group taken directly from Scripture. When done on a regular basis, this prayer will release a powerful annointing on yours and others lives.
I pray that You Adonai the God of our Lord Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ), the Abba of kvod (Father of Glory), would give me/us the spirit of wisdom and of revelation in knowing You. I pray that the eyes of my/our heart would be enlightened, so that I/we will know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of Your might which You brought about in HaMashiach (Christ), when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places,

For this reason I bow my knees before You Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that You would grant me/us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit in the inner man, so that HaMashiach (Christ) will dwell in my/our hearts through faith; and that I/we, would be rooted and grounded in love, and be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of HaMashiach (Christ) which surpasses knowledge, that I/we will be filled up to all the fullness of God.
